As a CSSIW & quality assured registered childminder, I have many policies in place to safeguard your child. When you come along for your initial visit, you will have the opportunity to look at all of my policies & my complaints procedure. My policies include equal opportunities, additional needs, behaviour, anti-bullying & working with parents & more which are important to the safety of your children in my care.
As a CSSIW registered childminder I am required to follow the 21 national minimum standards that CSSIW have in place, I am inspected every 2 years by CSSIW. I am also a Quality assured, Children Come First Network childminder of which I am required in addition, to follow their 10 standards, attend regular ongoing training & be inspected every 3 months, so you can be assured of a very high standard of care.
I work very closely with parents & will ensure strict confidentiality.
I believe that as a parent, you know your child best & I will do my utmost to follow any routines/requirements that you have so long as it does not compromise on the national minimum standards set out by CSSIW or the safety & well being of your child.
I am happy for parents to text me during the day to check on their child, it can be stressful for you to leave your little ones, I may not be able to get back to you immediately, usually because we are busy, but I will get back to you at the quickest opportunity that I am safely able to do so
